Apple cake

It can also be done in the fast version ...

  • 2 kg mere
  • 400 gr sugar
  • 4 sachets of vanilla pudding (I only put 2)
  • 500 gr fasting biscuits (I used petit beure, so I don't think I'm fasting)
  • cinnamon,
  • rom,
  • raisins

Servings: 6

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Apple cake:

1. Soak the raisins in rum for about 30 minutes. Wash the apples, cut them into cubes and boil them with sugar and 500 ml of water.

2. When the apples are cooked, add the pudding (previously melted in 100 ml of water) and let it boil for another 2-3 minutes, after which the fire is stopped, add the raisins and cinnamon.

3. Put a row of biscuits, one of the apple cream in a tray and alternate about 3-4 rows, taking care that a layer of apples remains on top.

(I cheated a little and put on the last row of biscuits and finetti and only then apple cream :)).

Serve cold!

Apple cake

It's been a long time since a sweet recipe has been uploaded. I have to admit that salting throws me more. but sometimes I do something delicious cakes, that he flies home. and if I take a piece to my co-workers. I'm not even telling you, it's always a little! This time I prepared a special one, an apple cake.

It's a miracle to do with Thermomix fruit cupcakes, because we crush the fruit so much that it is not noticed, but all its flavor remains. I do everything, the last one, remember? You really liked it: the banana cake.

In this case we will use mere. It is a fruit that does not come out of season and is always at a good price. So, someday you have to spend apples and you don't know why this is a very good option. And if not, as is the case with me, when I buy, I always reserve one that is not overly green to make this cake. You can do it with the type of apple you like the most, but I recommend some with a lot of flavor: granny smith type, pipin, pink lady, royal gala, fuji. and I would throw away the stark or golden variety (the classic yellow and red), which are fluffier and have less flavor.

On the other hand, it is a fantastic way for the little ones in the house to eat healthy fruits and pastries without cooking industrial pastries.

I set the measurements for a big cake. If you want, you can cut the amounts in half, except for the apple, which instead of putting half, you can put a smaller one.

In addition, for those of you who do not know, in this recipe we will learn how to make our own glass of sugar and you will see how you will never buy powdered sugar at the supermarket again, because yours is more natural and cheaper.

Apple cake

If it's a sweet weekend, the weather doesn't help us stay away from the kitchen at all :).

I think the apple cake is the simplest cake (maybe the cheapest) and to make it easier to prepare, I present the simplified version of the recipe.

  • 6-7 apples
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 6 tablespoons with sugar tip + 150g for caramelization
  • 1 baking powder knife tip

Peel the apples and remove the seeds.

Put 200g of sugar in a pan or pot with a diameter of about 26cm and caramelize it over low heat then turn the pan on one side and the other to cover the edges with melted sugar.

Preheat the oven to 170g C and place the apples in the pan then put it in the oven for 15 minutes.

Beat the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add the sugar and water and mix well.

Add the yolks, mix, then gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder.

Put the top over the ripe apples, level lightly and bake for another 20 minutes.

For more safety we test with the toothpick.

Remove the cake, let it cool and warmly turn it over on a plate (put the plate over the pan and then turn it over slightly).

Let it cool completely for 1 hour

Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon. I hurried to the maximum and it didn't turn out so nice :)

Pay attention to the amount of caramelized sugar. The longer it is, the more syrupy the cake will be. I didn't put enough on it because I didn't want it to be so sweet.

And in the rectangular version:

5 or a
5 tablespoons sugar
5 tablespoons flour
1 kg of apples
100 gr sugar for caramel

First prepare the caramel as follows: In a saucepan put 100 g of sugar and leave until caramelized. It is then spread evenly all over the bottom and on the walls of the pan and left to harden.

Be very careful not to caramelize the sugar too much otherwise it will become bitter.
We clean the apples, cut them into cubes, place them in the pan over the caramel and sprinkle them with cinnamon.

Mix eggs with sugar until the sugar melts and the composition becomes creamy. Add flour and mix. Pour the dough obtained in the pan over the apples. Because there have been several comments if you want for safety you can add baking powder, if you beat the eggs well the countertop should grow anyway. Normally there is no baking powder on the classic pandispan top, it will grow too much, it will make the belly and it will have holes in the dough at the end, I repeat, you just have to beat the eggs very well

Put in the oven over low heat until it browns and comes off easily from the walls of the pan.

Allow to cool then turn over on a plate.

The top no longer requires syrup because it will be moist enough from the syrup left by apples and caramel.
Put it in the fridge for at least an hour and then cut it into slices. According to your preferences, you can decorate it with whipped cream.

Remove and remove the cake ring or the removable edge of the baking tin. Before serving, the cake is powdered with ground cinnamon.

Apple Biscuit Cake (NO BAKING)

Today we have a festive recipe on the blog because we are celebrating. We celebrate a dream come true. What greater satisfaction can you have when you see your dreams come true? That you achieve the goals you set for yourself and for which you worked hard. That your work is rewarded by the appreciation of others.

Last night, one of my wishes related to the activity of the project "Readings and Flavors" it has become, with your help, a reality. I mean, we managed to gather around the community on YouTube channel of the blog a round figure, more precisely 1000 subscribers!

Maybe for some 1000 it doesn't seem like much but I assure you it's a pretty hard figure to reach. It takes a lot of involvement, a lot of time dedicated to reaching this magic number.

At the beginning of the year, I really wanted to get here by the end of it. It seemed to me a wish difficult to fulfill, especially since at that time there were about a hundred or two subscribers.

But I said to myself, I'm trying and somehow I will succeed even if I have no idea what promotion strategies I should use and even if I have no idea to shoot a video and process it.

I became ambitious and set to work. I gave more time to fulfilling this dream by neglecting what is right here on the blog, on the written side. And here I am, enjoying not only the fact that we have gathered 1000 people around the community on the video channel but also the fact that I have, once again, the confirmation that if you want something and work to make it you get it, that can come true.

But no more praise and personal development texts :) Let's get down to business, that is, let's enjoy together this fantastic recipe that is easy to put into practice and that has been very successful in our country.

I'll be honest and I'll tell you this apple biscuit cake (WITHOUT baking)I made it to celebrate my little boy's name day but I thought I'd publish it when we had something to celebrate 1000 subscribers to the YouTube channel.
